The Board of Directors is in charge with the responsibility of making decisions in the best interest of all the children. It is a governing body that develops policies, makes informed decisions and maintains an overview of the Child care Programs and the Before & After School Programs. The Board of Directors monitors incoming and outgoing monies and ensures proper allocation of those funds for all programs. The Board of Directors, along with the Parent Advisory Committees and the Executive Directors, ensure that all programs meet their legal obligations and requirements.
The Board of Directors also organizes and supports fundraising projects and events in order to provide the Programs with items to enhance the children’s learning environment.
The Board of Directors welcomes interested parents to become members and participate in the monthly meetings. While becoming a member involves a few hours of personal time, the personal satisfaction of playing an active role in your child’s development is well worth the effort.
