Suggestions for Birthday parties/Holiday celebrations
Parents must check all labels before sending in items with the child:
- Have an Ice Cream Cone party and let the children decorate them. (chapman’s ice cream—check the label)
- Popsicles (check all labels)
- Small bags of chips, corn chips, pretzels, cheezies and Doritos made by Hostess, Lays and Old Dutch are all made with vegetable oil.
- No Name, No Frills and Loblaws sell small white sugar powdered donuts that are made by Donut Time and are safe. They are sold in large clear containers.
- Dunk-A-Roo Cookies
- Fruit by the Foot
- Tickle my Tummy cookies
- Many products at Longo’s (look for the no nut sign)
- Full sized Chocolate Bars ( NESTLE—Kit Kat, Mirage, Smarties, Aero, Coffee Crisp; CADBURY—Caramilk; KINDER SURPRISE)

PLEASE ensure that you read labels completely. Any product that “may” contain nuts will not be served to the children and will be returned to the families. Cakes ordered from the grocery stores may not look like they contain nuts but may have come in contact with them and will not be served.
